“The Curlytops” - twin sisters Caitlin and Melinda Dahl – are musicians, filmmakers and entertainers in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Caitlin and Melinda have for years been a staple in the L.A. music scene, while also running their own successful commercial film company, “Dahlhouse Productions”. After taking some time off to have children, the Dahl Sisters saw the need for more thoughtful and relatable songs that both parents and kids could enjoy together. As a result, Caitlin and Melinda have been reborn as “The Curlytops” - an enchanting pair of toy dolls who live in a magical Dollhouse along with an array of unique and funny characters, all of whom come to life in their songs and videos.
“The Curlytops” are the latest in a series of successful projects for Caitlin and Melinda Dahl - joining their prolific commercial endeavors, their award-winning independent short films, and their enduringly popular alternative folk band, “The Dahls” - whose music has been featured on hit shows and in movies such as “Family Guy”, “Dumb and Dumber To”, “Virgin River” and “Resident Alien”. Caitlin and Melinda have been singing and playing music together since they were children. Now with children of their own, “The Curlytops” are very excited to share their first album, “Curlytops Dollhouse Volume 1” with their children, with your children – and with children off all ages. But… “it only happens when you come and open the door... to The Curlytops Dollhouse!”
